The Adventure begins!!!

Well,
We are in the airport in Boise Idaho. I know you may be asking "what are you doing in Boise? Rhesa and I drove from Houston to Dallas, dropped our kids off with Mema & Papa Rodriguez, drove to DFW airport, took a flight to Denver, ran to catch a connecting flight to Boise. The reason being that we were to attend a Cross Cultural Training, a step that Naz HQ requires before they give you the okay to serve either short term or long term. Some of you know, Rhesa and I had been feeling the Lord asking us to turn in our initial applications for service. When Naz HQ finally got our applications, we got a phone call the next day on our anniversary, November 29th. We were asked to consider going to a country in the Commonwealth of Independent States(part of the former USSR), and I would possibly serve as an administrator or teacher of a school that services kids K-10, of families who give thier lives in service in creative access countries. Currently I have already spoken to the Board chairman of the school, and are in the process to decide if the board would like to hire me. Rhesa and I feel that this is where the Lord is leading us.

Now, back to today. We are now waiting for Naz HQ to contact the field and all parties involved, and inform them that we have thier okay, so looks like we are going!!!!
Now all we have to do is sell the house, sell the cars, sell all of the belongings we will not or can not take with us, raise support, get passports, draw up a will and power of attorney, then in june, get on a plane and MANY hours later, arrive at our new destination. We ask that as you read these lines, that you would keep us in your prayers. Pray for God's continual guidance, protection, and provision. Thanks to all, may the Lord bless you.
